My formal education includes Wagner College under Richard Gaffney, The Art Students League with Oldrich Tepley, and the National Academy with Bernie OIshan.
Over the years I independently researched a variety of mediums at museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of New York, the Pennsylvania Academy of Art, the National Art Museum, the Louvre, and the Musee D’orsay, to name a few. I took advantage of seminars, lectures, and symposiums to further understand the complexities of art and the artists that create them. Later in life, I gradually formed a new appreciation of modern art and its many styles, features, and characteristics. When I’m in the studio, my passion for creating large contemporary wall art takes over, and I feel privileged at the opportunity to convey what I envision to the viewer.
